Same Boston Address, different "Taste of Asia"

Taste of Asia has been replaced! Pho and I, a self-proclaimed “House of Noodle and Rice” is the new occupant of 267 Huntington Avenue.
I have not tried it yet (the next few hours will determine whether that will happen today or not) but I called to find out if they are accepting the Husky ID, as Taste of Asia did.
The woman on the phone was more than sweet, saying that they will be carrying it very soon, probably next week.
With side dishes as low as $1.00 (jasmine rice) and a wide selection of vermicelli entrees, Vietnamese specialty appetizer and soups, Pho and I as a real shot at being a good replacement for Taste of Asia. The most expensive dish on the menu is Banh Hoi, Rice Paper Work, which is described as vermicelli roll, and comes with grille beef, shrimp or shrimp on sugar cane (wonder what that is). The cost is $10.95. I will report back with findings on taste, décor and overall appeal of this new, hopefully amazing, Boston Vietnamese eatery.
